Nature- and outdoor-play resources
Hello everyone,
Thanks to Dianne for the invitation to this incredible group. I run an organization called Samara Early Learning that focuses on helping early childhood educators integrate nature into their teaching.
We have many free resources related to nature-based education including videos, webinars, etc. I also have a podcast called Mindful Turtle which focuses on a simple action step each week related to nature-based teaching and learning. The episodes are short (less than 20 minutes) with new episodes released weekly September-June.
A great place for people to start is with our fun quiz to identify where they are on their nature-based journey and then a roadmap for next steps.
We also have some lower-cost resources in the Samara Shop. This includes books I’ve written, on-demand webinars and workshops, reflection workbooks, and more. We also have a professional learning community and resource hub called The Grove.
