Oregon Registry Online (ORO)

The Oregon Registry Online (ORO) is a database that stores training and education for Oregon’s childhood care professionals. ORO helps you meet system requirements such as DELC licensing needs and DHS Enhanced Rate Program eligibility. You may also use ORO to produce an official record of your training and education, called a Professional Development Statement.

CCSO Child Care Substitutes of Oregon

Childcare Substitutes of Oregon provides support to early childhood programs across the state by offering access to trained and reliable substitute educators. Our program helps childcare providers maintain continuity of care by ensuring classrooms remain open and supported when staff are absent.

Participating programs receive up to 50 hours of subsidized substitute care per calendar year, helping reduce staffing disruptions and support compliance with licensing requirements while maintaining high-quality care for children. We work closely with providers to connect them with qualified substitutes and strengthen workforce stability across Oregon.

Oregon Child Care Alliance

The Oregon Child Care Alliance provides no cost business support and training, tax help and free online tools to manage your business. Child care programs are paired with a business coach who helps with your business needs and provides business training.

SPARK

Spark is Oregon’s Quality Recognition and Improvement System (QRIS). It is a voluntary program designed to support and recognize high quality early childhood care and education programs.

ORAEYC

Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children (ORAEYC) is a Professional Organization providing member support and training, professional development opportunities, including Mind in the Making, Building a Business, and Set 3 training cohorts.

Oregon AFSCME

Union for Child Care that provides services for its members including free training, scholarship funds and a Provider Bill of Rights.  For more information on the advantages of becoming a Union member contact Member Services Center  or call 1-844-758-6466

First Children's Finance

First Children’s Finance is dedicated to growing the supply and business sustainability of excellent child care.

Founded in 1991, First Children’s Finance addresses the business and finance needs of child care. FCF offers FREE monthly business training in English, Spanish, Russian and Vietnamese. as well as FREE business consulting for starting a business, business and financial assesments, or helping set up a business improvement plan. 

Business Oregon : Child Care Infrastructure Program

As directed by the Oregon Legislature in House Bill 3005, Business Oregon is working with the Department of Early Learning and Care, other state agencies and private and non-profit entities to implement a grant and loan program to provide financial assistance for child care infrastructure activities.

Small Business Administration

This is a valuable resources  for helping with business needs. While they are not geared to child care, some local SBDC's have partnerships with area CCR&Rs and may know more about the business needs of early learning and care programs.
