HERE'S A PERFECT ACTIVITY FOR FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

With that in mind here is an amazing activity that involves children and their families and your program.  Kelsey Winegar of Little Stompers Preschool in Eugene, Oregon shares this idea

SNOWMAN CONTEST AND POTLUCK

Families are asked to make a snowman creation together with their child and bring it into school. At the end of a 2 week period they are given to make one a potluck is planned to show off all the snow creations. Each one receives an award based on a standout feature of their snow people. It is always super fun and families get so creative. Families enjoy the process and the end potluck celebration is a great grand finale!
