Developmental Screening in Child Care

Developmental Screening serves to identify potential delays so that children can receive the support they may need. In this workshop, we will: explore the purpose and goals of developmental screening; examine key factors to select screening instruments; explore screens for infants, toddlers, preschool and young school-age children. Finally, we will differentiate intervention services and acknowledge our responsibility to refer families to services.
