I started my career in childcare in 1987 so that I could stay home with my 3 young children. It wasn't easy and I almost quit the first year. But then I met Joan Lowe, Chris Chenoweth and Michelle Tennison, the founder of PRO and several other providers. They were my first coaches/teachers and offered me support when I needed it and I have always felt the need to support other Providers because of this. Providers helping Providers, that in my opinion is the ultimate support that works in this business. I encourage Providers to come, be a support and share your passion and pride for this business with others.

Currently I am the Facilitator for the Clackamas Chapter of PRO and run a Certified Family Child Care program. I love this business.
